Hello everyone,

I truly wish I heard of this website before I got involved with Brixdale/Jamvo. I actually started with the supposed company a couple of weeks ago, and I was going to start giving away free airline tickets to increase my business. Fortunately, I have not yet marketed any free airline tickets to any of my clients, therefore they were not involved. I do know someone that has promoted the "business" and started a website. She now has to go back and contact all of her clients and change her website. She also lost a great deal of money and time with Jamvo/Brixdale. It's unfortunate, but a lesson learned. Personally, I lost a total of of $71. But I'm sure there are some people that lost much more as well as clients. Good work scams.com, I just wish that I found this site three weeks ago.

The lady's name wouldn't be Tammy by any chance would she?

Glad to see that. It is unfortunate for those who got involved, and I wish them luck in the future.

I am interested in what the Brixdale supporters have to say about the situation.

Sojustask,

No, Tammy isn't her name. BUT, Tammy McMullen emailed the person that I am talking about apologizing and speaking about her experience with Jamvo/Brixdale. I will post the email once I have more time. I take it that you know Tammy McMullen. Who is she may I ask?

How to File a Complaint

We've received many notes from you asking the $64,000 question, "Will we have our money returned?" The answer of course is "We don't know but we certainly hope so!"

What we do know is that you can and should file a complaint with the New York State Attorney's office. If they seize Brixdale's assests and have a list of members, they might be able to dispurse our funds back to us.

To file a complaint go to this website address and download the form:
http://www.oag.state.ny.us/complaints/pdfs/internet_complaint.pdf

Mail it to: New York Attorney General's Office 120 Consumer Fraud Dept.-3rd Floor New York, NY 10271

Or fax it to: 212-416-8787

I don't recommend that you call the AG's office because they will not give out any information whatsoever. But the number is (212) 416-8300. Good luck!

Scam Upon Scam?
It is very likely that Brixdale has intentionally deceived their members once again. The NY Attorney General’s office denies issuing a ceasing order and didn’t even know about Brixdale until now. That means that the announcement on the website is just a smoke screen to make us think that their shut down was due to government interference and that Brixdale would cooperate with returning funds. If this is the case then the owners have absconded with our funds. How much? It’s hard to say, but if Brixdale had 7000 or more members each of which paid an extra $1,000 for their mortgage, it would put the amount above seven million dollars! Not bad for a year’s worth of work!

At this point we hope the authorities will pursue the criminals involved who I’m sure are hoping that most of the members will be paralyzed by confusion. If Brixdale owes you money you should contact the NY Attorney General’s office (212) 416- 8300. Perhaps thousands of complaints will signal the seriousness of the crime.

Since we’ve personally already done this there is not much more we can do at the moment. So, we plan to take some time to refocus with the goal of pursuing another much more legitimate endeavor. Networking is in our and we will soon be back in business!

Sojustask,

I do thank you for all of your information. Here is the email Ms. Tammy Mcmullen emailed someone else, then it was forwarded to me. I was thinking about giving her a call. Also, I noticed the "equityzip" in her email address. I guess I'm lucky that I only lost $71 and not $1,000's as some may have, but I am pissed nevertheless.

Subject: [JamvoVouchers] Brixdale / Jamvo Shut Down - What to Do?
Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2005 1:35 AM
Hello all Jamvo Members:

I am very disappointed by what's happening to Jamvo & Brixdale and at
this point am in the dark as to the root cause of the shut down. Over
the last couple months I observed a sharp decline in both Brixdale &
Jamvo Corporate support but I felt compelled to 'hang in there' to
prove or disprove the company.... actual free trial commissions /
flights / customer satisfaction / etc. and to determine if Jamvo was
indeed a legitimate business. Unfortunately this may never come to
light.

If indeed Jamvo was a FLAT OUT SCAM, I am hoping there is some way for
everyone to recoup any money lost out. I am referring to all
recipients who sent in $20, all recipients who completed a free trial
and were due their flight, all reps who are owed commissions, etc.,
etc....

I'm sending everyone a copy of what I sent out to my Brixdale team as
it pretty much applies to Jamvo as well. I welcome all documentation
or news and would appreciate having it posted in our group forum.

Below is a copy of what was sent to my Brixdale team and it basically
applies to everyone involved in Jamvo as well...

Hello Guys / Gals,

I am trying to find out the exact reasons why Brixdale was shut down
as well as what their intentions are on handling customer accounts /
refunds.

I'm sure everyone is concerned about their extra mortgage payment that
Brixdale has in Trust and when they will receive it back - as well as
those that may have had a debit made (caught in the x-fire) and not
paid due to them being ordered to cease operations. I for one am very
upset and worried about losing any money and the mere thought of
Brixdale actually being a flat out scam turns my stomach. I do not
believe that is the case and I am hell bent on finding the REAL CAUSE
of them being shut down.

My suggestion to everyone is to write to the Attorney General of New
York and the Attorney General of Delaware as well as Brixdale
Corporate. If nothing is to be done to compensate all members by
returning fees as well as monies held in trust then I would think
there will indeed be some type of class action lawsuit filed. I ALSO
STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE TO GO TO THEIR BANKS AND FILE A COMPLAINT OR
AFFIDAVIT FOR REGULATION E PROTECTION... my understanding is that
this needs to be filed within 60 days and some people (myself
included) are well beyond this timeframe for the 3rd debit which is
the actual debit Brixdale has held in Trust.. HOWEVER it cannot hurt
to file or inquire with your bank and they may be able to offer other
directives or routes to go.

Please voice all thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and any feedback or
directives received from Brixdale and/or any Attorney Generals so that
we may all be advised.

This really sucks is all I can say and that it was only in the last
month or two that I really felt Brixdale was going downhill with their
support and lack of leadership. I was not impressed with the new
program change on 8/17/05 but had some comfort after being led to
believe the change made the program compliant in all 50 states.

I just want everyone to know I will do my best to find out what our
rights and options are and I will make every attempt to get facts out
to our team as I get them. Again, I am hoping that everyone gets
their money back and as I have never been involved with any program
with this type of outcome, I'm really not sure of our options. I'll
be writing several AGs this evening and seeking legal counsel before
week's end for assistance.

Comments / suggestions / thoughts / etc. / are welcome.

Tammy

I would sooner trust a viper to tell me the truth than Tammy. I note that she is apologetic and honest in her email, but then, she didn't have much choice in the matter did she.

As you can tell, I don't take kindly to people who publicly "threaten" to do me physical harm as she mistakenly did. LOL.

She is a terrible representation of what a marketer should do to present themselves on any forum or board. Red hair and Irish decent is just an excuse for childish, immature behavior.

Count your blessings,

Lady Mod

I, too, wish I could've read this site before signing up.

Well, I called the NY AG. They had never even heard of Brixdale. If they did actually shut them down, they would've done a press release. There was no release of any sort. If the principles of Brixdale shut down and they used the AG as their release, they can be sure that the NY AG will be hunting for them now with many, many complaints coming through. Hopefully more than half of those 7,000 will complain. Also, they are incorporated in Delaware. It shows that they are either living there or have a residence there. I've called the DE AG too. They have not heard of Brixdale either and they will be investigating as well.

One of the principles has done internet scams before.

Even the web site message is intentionally misleading.

The NY AG doesn't do ANYTHING like this without making a huge PR effort (Sptizer is running for President, you know!)

Yes, I keep looking everyday at their press releases everyday to see if they're doing anything about the scam. Maybe it's a long shot, I still have hope though that they'll do something about it.
