Everyone on this earth will have a chance to choose God or reject Him. That is why He is the Loving God that He is. Everyone will have the chance. Even in other countries where there are "other" gods. Jesus' second coming will not happen until everyone on the earth has decided for or against.
Procrastination works against many of us, a good tool Satan has developed to make us think we are safe in waiting until tomorrow to decide. Time flies fast. With more communication available, the Word will be spread via satellite, internet and whatever else is out there. One thing that can be said for sure, God knows every heart and He is the judge of who will be saved and who won't be. He knows why each of us are the way we are because of events that happened to us in childhood to make us more stubborn and resistful to His pleas to turn to Him and be saved. There are things that we don't even remember that happened to us as children that play a prominent role why we are searching for something, but yet reject the idea of there being a God. Like Jesus has said before, I would rather you be hot or cold. He doesn't want anyone to be lukewarm. It doesn't accomplish anything but bring down others into a false sense of security. No middle ground in this situation.
The only thing a person can do is genuinely ask God for direction, wait and listen. He did this for me. I was totally against any church out there but one day it all changed. I can't explain it, it wasn't my doing. Now, I can see where He has guided me and directed me the past 10 years. Everyone's experience is different but uplifting at the same time. I may not be able to prove that God is real, but I can FEEL that He is real and relate my experience.

Sometimes, though, especially the last few years, I wonder...haven't I passed the test yet? LOL
Many times, when I thought I could handle no more, I've been further tested. But in the end, it all works out. But gee...when am I going to finally pass that test? LOL

My wife and I, we get frustrated somtimes but then we have this joke (not really a joke but) if I am getting sick of all the trials and getting fed up, she will say," come on now, don't forget about Longsuffering ". Yes, longsuffering indeed. And vice versa. I will say it to her when she's fed up with all the kids' extra work load. So it is a joke, but yet it's not. We have used it as a way to remind ourselves that the trials will always be there, as long as there is something that God wants us to learn. When we truly pass them, we won't have them again. I seem to keep getting stuck on a few. Maybe a few more gray hairs before I learn.

Sometimes I'd like to say, "Ok, let's just agree that I've flunked this test and move on. Give me a new test instead!" The same old test gets old and frustrating.

But hey! My hair turned silver instead of gray. People stop me on the street and ask how I got my hair that color. Even beauticians have stopped me on the street and in stores. When I tell them I grew it, they always say something like, "I've been trying for years to get that out of a bottle!"
Just as my mom always said, "There is a silver lining behind every cloud." And I guess my silver hair instead of gray is one silver lining.

According to the Bible He doesn't want other people worshipping false Gods, but if they've never heard of Him what else are they supposed to do? i heard hearing is not what we think it is.one of the 5 human senses but in biblical meaning the only sense.like when someone yells your name when you least expect it.a form of attention.complete attention.think of military training as a substitute.so just hearing "of" a god is not the same as "hearing" god.and hearing cometh by the word of god.what is the word of god!?jesus is the living word of god.seen(heard) him lately!?i've seen alotta people talkin about him.talk is cheap.and it pays well too!it's one thing to accept a gift so as not to offend.it's another thing to expect it as programmed response.but that's business(show) as usual.cash flow is the name of the game.pay, pray, or get outa the way!!

God's word is in the bible. The scriptures were given to the writers chosen by our lord.We have a choice just as Adam and Eve had a choice.
One purpose that we have is to trust in our lord, to spread his word, to follow his word. In fact, this is our main purpose. If there is anything else, he wants us to do, the lord will show us if we allow him to do so. i disagree with your statement that we have the same choice as adam and eve.our only choice is "if" we can see(hear) the word of god(jesus).and the wicked angel works to keep the lost, lost,by challenging the actions/words of the believers.by scripture itself or by sincerity of sacrifice(degree).JOB comes to mind.

I think those false gods apply when we KNOW that we are worshipping false gods (we are choosing things over God instead) (which is anything that we do in place of God or make more important than God). Or what about worshipping the false idol of believing there is no God? Making ourselves our own gods instead? I believe there are some religions out there that say we become gods eventually and the like. If you read in genesis, wasn't that what satan was saying to Eve? And now we have some religions also teaching that very same thing. Dangerous grounds there.

Hope alone can give a person a reason to live. Things are dreary enough on this earth with all of the suffering and pain we see daily.
If a person were in jail for a crime they didn't commit, would it be better for them to HOPE that the truth will be learned one day and be set free? or merely settle for the fact that they are in jail and just exist? maybe even want to kill themselves?
OR
maybe they could see that maybe there is a purpose for being in jail; a lesson to learn, or perhaps God is trying to teach them something they would not have otherwise learned in any other circumstance. I have read of people in jails where they help other inmates find God or turn a negative situation into a positive one. Life is what we make it. No matter what, it is better for us and others to be more positive. Better for our health too. Most people have a hope of some kind in something.
Would people still play the lottery if there was absolutely no hope of winning? From what God says we have a purpose, so that's what I believe.
Synik, do you still go to church? Did you have a negative experience with it? For a Catholic, you seem to portray that you believe in the big bang more than immaculate conception. I'm not being sarcastic here, just asking something that I'm starting to pick up on with the things you post.
