lets see.......the purpose of this thread is!?............to talk,argue,defend,show off,beat down,philosophize,get on top,prove your own point,to yourself and then for validity....others!!sounds like anyother thread!?everyone wants to rule the world!?so they can be nice!?sounds like a plan!?as to the bible it is a tool for men to use and like all tools it has it's faults or drawbacks depending on how it is used.for if we read it's premise then we can see the sytem as originally intended is broken or corrupted and since the bible is part of that system then it is also corrupted.the original hebrew may be uncorrupted but who can understand it!?but one thing stands out for me concerning the bible.it is the possiblity of the superman.we can all understand(by seeing the results) when a new scientific discovery is made that completely changes life as we know it.what is much more difficult to understand is how a man can change into a superman.this is really the ultimate goal for man.take for instance science fiction.the writers can concieve of all kinds of nonexistant technological advances and what do you know,xmany years later they come true.the general public willingly agrees to the possibilitys inherent to scientific discoverys.but on the more personal matter of the idea of a superman the resistance is pretty overwhelming.but is it really any different!?well,yes in my opinion because it is a more personal matter.a personal performance issue that is already a problem for social man which would only be escalated by the wide acceptance at least in principle by the ruling masses if the bar was raised to superman status.i think it is happening now.silently you might say.certainly hitlers grand plan was to eventually create a super race.and i think it is actually possible.but not thru promotion.or hype or planning.like with the current political climate.but all these things going on in relation to the idea only prove it to be true for me.not true for everyman but only true for each man.each man can find the tools to be superman............narrow be the way,and few be they that find it.the way to what!?eternal immortality and superpowers!?but will science win out!?(robocop!?)the choice for a man is a matter of fate and luck and determination.fate is his birth,(heredity ,nurturing)luck are those influences that cross his path and offer him choices.and determination is his decision to follow a path.a path of mind.(heart)for the heart is ruled by life or by death.and to not know or believe in the possibility of immortality is to lead an existance that is death related.a top down pecking order of fighting over the time(remaining)related material rewards.this would be my black and white observational opinion.dont even get me started on the grey!!
