Investigators looking into the 1975 disappearance of Teamsters Union leader Jimmy Hoffa ripped up the floor boards May 28, 2004, of this northwest Detroit home, shown June 1, 2004, looking for traces of blood. According to an upcoming book by Charles Brandt, a deceased Pennsylvania Teamster official named Frank Sheeran claimed to have shot Hoffa inside the home in 1975. REUTERS/Rebecca Cook
Maybe they will make a Cold Case Episode off this! (My favorite TV show by the way)

This thread deserves a revival.
Over the years I have heard many rumors about what really happened to Jimmy Hoffa. The one that crops up the most often is that he was bumped off by the mob for unspoken reasons (anybody who has ever worked around a Teamsters loading dock can imagine what some of those reasons might be).
His corpse was driven to Meadowlands Stadium, then under construction and 'planted' under the concrete pad poured for one of the parking lot gates.

There have been jokes about it in NY for years. One reason that finding Hoffa's body and the people that killed him has been a mystery for so long.... solving this would shed new light on another unsolved mystery. Who killed JFK and why? Hoffa said that "some body should kill that SOB" or words to that effect. He was also not fond of RFK.
