Ya, after reading the posts (and getting my 56 page booklet that I haven't read as of yet), and another "urgent", time-sensitive letter... man, I hope the guy that thought this up wakes tomorrow as a lepper! however... a word about time sensitive letter the scammers have sent all of us. If you have a scanner, just scan it and change the date on the invoice... that is if you ever decide you want it in the future. who knows... perhaps one just needs to read into the 1000 page book to see the secrets, I'll never know unless I actually have a chane to read it. If these so called "cycles of opportunity" only last for so long, my "second cycle" (as the scammer said i have entered) will be ending soon, it will be well past its due date due to the fact that my special quality is Dislexia... it will easily take me about a year to finish reading the book. well, if i have the extra cash, ill get it... but i have bills to pay. We all do. Remember, your bills and personal well being should ALWAYS come first. You can always create your own opportunities to make money, find love, and become more healthy. but if you have the extra $140 to blow on a book, go for it... no matter what book you have read or will read, there is always something in it either obvious or hidden that can be applied to life. Ill post again after i read the book... Thanks for letting me blather on about what i was thinking. be ever-watchful... everyone wants your money.

dear krusinac:
hopefully you will read this thread before you send in for the 1000 page book. I sent in for the free booklet about two weeks ago and barely got it yesterday. I have debated heavily asking friends for money to send in for this book, however, after reading this thread, i have everyone else here to thank for opening my eyes and helping convince me not to waste money on the book. if you'll go back to somewhere close to the beginning of this thread, you will find a link that shows you the content of the book for free. again...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. the reason i so heavily debated whether or not i should send in for this book is because i thought it was a scam. it turns out i was right. i noticed something that sent off a red flag big time in the back of my mind. the very first mail you get describes some random guy telling you how he was fat and broke and depressed and goes to a casino, meets this guy who tells him to follow him around to find out some mysterious secret, then the mystery man disappears and this gy wanders around for weeks then months then goes into some random library in a really really small town and the librarian pulls out a dust-covered book contatining these secrets. well...in the free booklet thats SUPPOSED to contain these secrets, but DOESNT, it recites that same exact story, detail for detail, except with some random woman. dont believe everything you read. i just want to say thanks to everyone for posting...and thanks for the heads up. goot posts, JOEL, and BLEDBURN. thanks for the humor, 1STJORDAN and you do have a very good point, VISNU...they sent it to me under my shortened nick, which i should have picked up on right away, but oh well. at least i didnt waste my money. thanks guys

Please take care, and remember you cannot judge a book by its cover, nor by a special letter for that matter.
--Kevin Okay, if you're really Kevin Trudeau and not some jacka$$ pretending to be him, then shouldn't you have called it "cycle 2" instead of "phase 2"? The only thing you and Kev have in common is your both full of sh!+.

First of all, I too purchased Trudeau's book. Regarding it being a bunch of bull. All I can say, is read the material and look at the entire picture. Does he list the cures, no, does he tell you what treats what issue, No. What he does do however is open your eyes in that book. I read it, changed my diet, started drinking Fiji water as my only beverage and guess what, I feal GREAT, my suits are getting big on me, I'm fealing more energy than I have in quite some time. I've stopped drinking Soda and Coffee which I used to have 3-4 per day of each. Is Fiji Water expensive, sure but no more so than a Venti No Whip Peppermint Mocha. Was this something that people have been telling me for as long as I can remember, sure his book however put it into a method that I could capture and put to use. Was it worth the price of the book. You bet it was.
Now back to the issue at hand, after I purchased his book, I am receiving this wonderfull letter telling me how special I am. Well, sure I'm special. I knew that for quite some time. We're all special, in our own SPECIAL way.
I did what the first letter said and rushed back my responce for the free book. In fact, I was so gullable that I not only mailed it back making sure to have it post marked prior to the deadline, I also went down to my local UPS shop and had the original letter faxed to them. My cost, $.37 for the letter, and $1.75 for the fax. Not bad, I can handle the $2.12.
OK so here I am waiting for this lovely FREE booklet to arrive, Booklet, hell I did a better job of putting a booklet together in 6'th grade with a copy machine. I however read through the entire thing, well into the morning. Finally done, I went to sleep and decided to wait until the morning to make any decisions. Good Thing. I guess the decision to wait till the next morning was my "TEN SECOND MIRACLE" LOL
As I got up, I fired up the PC and went to BBB only to find a very bad report. OK, no problem, the $139.95 stays in my checking account. But what about all the SECRET information that I will not be priveledged to. I guess I'll have to do without it.
True, it captured my interest, it reminded me of a movie where some colledge students where priveledged to join a secret society. Shortly being granted entry, they all had money in there accounts, they went to a serimony and all where given keys to exotic cars. I can't remember the movie, but the main thing is. IT's A MOVIE.
I guess Kevin's refference to the term "It's all about the Money" is totally true. We purchase a book from an infomercial, we receive the book. Our name and information is sold to another company and then the race is on. We the consumer are listed as Suckers and we are the "GOLD LEADS" everyone wants to get there hands on our information. Remember the movie with the "GOLD LEADS"
Well, it's up to us to make sure that this does not continue. If you are reading this letter to see weather you should send your $139.95 or not. I say to you the following. If your finances are so messed up that you are buying the idea that this will fix everything for the mere price of $139.95 you nead to step back. If your love life is so out of tilt that you are hoping beyond all hope that this will save your marriage, friendship, romance, you nead to take a step back. If your life, carrear is so upside down that this is the only answer to put things back, you need to take a step back. Nobody gets nothing for nothing and if the product they are attempting to sell was as good as it is supposed to be. Trust me $139.95 would never be the price.
If you read the FREE booklet that you where sent, it speaks about the 10 second miracle. Well some of it can apply. Sit down in your favorite chair, close your eyes, take a few deap breaths and start thinking about all the things that you have to be thankfull for.
The fact that you are alive and breathing would be a good place to start, the fact that you have a partner that does in fact care for you, even if it may not be the best it could be right now. If you have children, be thankfull that they are yours and that things are as they are, knowing that things can always have been worse. I'm sure you can find many more things to be thankfull for.
Now, if you have an extra $139.95 that you where going to be able to send to these individuals, take it, put it in your pocket, take the family out to dinner and a movie and I'm sure you will have quite an enjoyable time and who knows, maybe even a much more rewarding night. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And yes, "IT's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY"
Keep The Faith, Keep your MONEY,
And Have a GREAT WEEK.
Joseph Thanks! I love this site! If any of you ordered Kevin's book, and actually received it - I'm impressed! I never received my copy, never ordered the newsletter (which I did receive and they tried to charge me for), and never received the refund they promised me. Hmmm, sounds like a scam to me.
I did do a search for "natural cures" and found several sites that posted natural cures to different ailments, no charge. Of course, they did try and sell you something, but they gave more on their sites than Kevin does in his book, or that NTS does with their "special" letter and "free" booklet.
They're "SPECIAL," alright!
And I love the idea of sending for the book (which I did), and then throwing it away. Because I faxed my letter to them, it cost me nothing while they wasted THEIR money sending me their crappola!

It seems that the Nouveau Tech Society has made some changes... My letter is from John Finn and the address is a P.O. Box in Clifton, NJ. I received my letter on 10/20/05 and it had to be postmarked by today - 10/21/05. I guess they don't want to give you any time to check them out.

I too ordered the Natural Cures Book-2 of them. I ordered one for myself and one for my mother about 2 months apart. I never received mine. When I called, they couldn't seem to find where I placed my order, but my cc had been charged for it. So, I had to fax them a copy of my statement showing where I was charged for it. My mother read part of her book and wanted it returned because she didn't learn anything other than what had already been said on the commercial. I called them again about the book I never received and told them to cancel the order. I had to fax a copy of my cc statement yet again. It has been almost 4 months since I first ordered the book and haven't had a response yet! I am waiting for them to credit my cc for BOTH books! Do you think I will ever get my money back??? Maybe I should contact someone about this problem, but I don't know who! Any suggestions???

I received my letter today telling me I am SPECIAL. Oh wow...I am soooo flattered...How did they find out how special I am and my address? Could it be from my credit card paying for Troudeau's book of jokes I was fool enough to fall for while he and Tammy Fay were letting off hot air on T V early one morning while I was most vulnerable? I would love to call Mr. Troudeau a snake in the grass but I won't. Have you all noticed that all fish is bad except those caught in the wild in pristine Northern waters selling for $500 for a pound? Shipped frozen to you over night.I'll still buy wild salmon at Walmart for $6. I am trying to make a joke of my foolishness for ever falling for Troudeau's speil or whatever it was. God gave us a brain to think with but we aren't perfect. Oh well... a lesson learned, "they "say. Fritzyjune

I bought the book because I have Fibromyalgia and am always looking for help. This Natural Cures book said...Fibromyalgia is a catch all syndrome that the label people with when the doctors dont now what else to call it. I am certain the doctors at MAYO Clinics will be happy to hear that! They diagnosed me ibn 1996 and are searching for a cure. I sent it back as soon as I read that, which didnt take long. I just got the letter about how special I am today...Hmm I wonder if this special feeling is the same one you get EVERY time you get taken for a ride by a theif?

dundefinedundefined SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!! I just bought the Kevin Trudeu Book a few weeks ago. And right after that Recieved the Bogus Tech letter. I mean com on. Who 'reviewed' my 'profile'?! This was a pretty good scam, and I almost fell into it, untill the $140 price for a book was asked! I was like, $140! Yeah right. I am a cheapskate, and know a another cheapskate when I see one. The letter might have been first class, but that shows how desperate they really are to get your money. My first instinct was to look at the return address. It seemed pretty bogus to me. I specifically went on the website to see any info and I ran into this and knocked myself on the head! D'oh!!! I cant believe I almost bought the book. Just because of the money back garuntee. But then I realized how many times the author's of the letter and the so called reports repeated the same thing over, and over and over and over and over and over..... well you get my point. The wording was the same in 3 different stories. And if this was legitimate, how could unintelligent people have access to this knowledge so easily? The person says in the letter with the bill: " Even if you arnt a heavy reader, thats ok" because you will some how recieve this 'secret' knowledge subconsciously. Sorry for the horrible spelling, but I use Word and it spell check has crippled my spelling abilities. But really, I have never encountered something like this , and all I have to say is DONT GIVE ANYONE ANY MONEY WHO PROMISES HEALTH, LOVE, MONEY, or anything else that sounds so damn good!!!!! Pardon the French, but it is people like this who will go to hell! Kevin I believe on the other hand has the same kind of writing style as the Bogus Tech people! He repeats "its all about the money" at least 50 times in the book! He repeats so many phrases that I just dropped the book and hung my head in shame. He even admitts that THERE WERE NO EDITORS FOR HIS BOOK!!!!!! HE WROTE IT ALL HIMSELF, WITHOUT EDITORS OR PROOFREADERS!!! He explains that this was meant for the average joe, but I bet average joe would fall asleep by the 3rd chapter in his book. In life I have learned the chain reaction theory. The theory goes like this: If one thing goes bad, it affects something else, and then something else, and then something else, so on and so forth (and the same goes for something good). So know that I have been scamed by Kevin Trudeau (note his last letters in his last name are like Noveau!, That should be a BIG HINT RIGHT THERE) I have a tendency to continue to follow the chain reaction theory, UNLESS I stop for 10 min and really think about what I have done, and how I can solve whatever problem I am in. Thanks for reading, and hope something is done about this BOGUS TECH, and Trudeau!!!! As one final note, look how cheap Bogus Tech was, it look like they gave me a piece of paper that was 20 years old, and wrote with a typewriter from WWII. Kevins CD package with the book must have cost a whole 30 cents. His lack of editors should prove he is not legitimate. DANGER! DANGER! WILL ROBINSON, aviod empty promises by people who you dont know!

I found the Natural Cures book very disappointing and the special letter only iced the cake. If you really want information on what modern food is doing to our bodies, and how to find cures to bring healing then I would recommend "The Maker's Diet" by Jordan Rubin. He has the credentials and experience to back up what he is saying and the book is pretty easy to read. Plus he has a huge resource section which is free. Maybe many of you wouldn't want to buy another book, but this one promises the answers we were looking for when we stumbled upon ol' Kevin on the tube.

I willingly bought the "Natural Cures" Book about a month ago. I, TOO, was informed by a letter on poorly copied paper, that I had special powers and unused potential. (Thanks for reminding me) Kevin Trudeau did not "scam" me. He struck me as a goofy looking, wealthy man with a word against the "Medical" industry. I wanted the message. The first three chapters were very redundant. The rest of the book (especially chapter 6) has been very informative and life changing for me. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic disease and have decided to go with a natural/holistic approach. My MD didn't recommend this approach (no $urpri$e there) In my opinion, those of you who ordered the book, lacked the tenacity to get through the "conspiracy theory" chapters. I guess you expected him to tell you in line one chapter one that the cure to every illness is something simple like a teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper. Maybe you would have been satisfied had he told you to chew a cinammon stick. I think the people that would benefit from this book are people that are willing to make LIFESTYLE CHANGES. This book is NOT for ppl w/ the MICROWAVE mentality. If you feel betrayed and scammed from buying the book you are probably not ready to commit to the many changes needed to allow God to work with your body to heal itself. My MD. would have been fine with medicating me until I died. I know that I will live longer and healthier now that I have read the book. Really. I'm a free and independent thinker. I don't believe Columbus discovered America, I don't believe most "medicine" cures and I don't believe it is designed to cure. You were sent the letter under the assumption that you just MIGHT be the type of person interested in taking your distrust of gov't and receptiveness of "natural healing" to the "NEXT" level with the whole "secret society" thing. My guess is that "Natural Cures" is the gateway for some people to stop being sheep. I'm not sure if I want to move from being a sheep to a computer chip in the arm. Someone on another thread did a little research (which I appreciate- Thank you) and found a link associated with NTS ...something about it's Illuminati involvement?? I read through many of the links and whew?!? It's over my head for now. All this Neo-tech cosmic mind vs mystic mind stuff. It's too late at night to make sense of that rhetorical mess. The funny thing is that if you didn't want to be involved with the "Illuminati"- Uhhohh...Guess who has your name & address on file? Guess who thinks you'd make a GREAT Nouveau Tech-ian? Whoooohoo! Scary! It's the devil... Oh, wait a minute! I can get all that stuff on the net or phone book anyway. Whew!!! For a minute there I thought I was scammed!! Someone please let me know if you get hypnotised or forced into writing a check of $100+ to the NTS. I've got bills, too. My stance is - DON'T BUY BOOKS YOU DON'T INTEND TO READ...you might feel gypped if you don't get passed the 4th chapter. That's like getting mad at a diet plan because you can't lose weight eating Micky D's everyday. I didn't buy the book because Kevin was a wholesome, honest, hardworking man of the people- I wanted the MESSAGE. I got it and I am grateful for the concise, direct guidance his (Trudeau and Staff) research has provided. Also, don't join the Illuminati or any other secret society "on accident" and tell everyone in cyberspace. If you want to know what this NTS is advocating pay the $100+ for the book or go to the site and sift though all that "secret" stuff to get an idea. If you don't care about NTS- stop acting like a victim and move on. No crime here, ladies and gentlemen.
