you are right... unfortunately with this attitude we must confront north korea and iran as well. which we are preparing to do. which means possibility of pulling in: china russia lybia syria and south korea
but maybe we can get in and get out. plant the seed and nurture it from home. on the other side though, are we ready to take on the other bad guys as well?
If we use Betamanmn's example of American "opportunity to create real, necessary change through a justified course of action" the we must realize how deep this might go. For example, North Korea and Iran are just as bad of a threat to americans as Iraq, if not worse. Right now we are stocked with troops in Iraq, Afgan, and South Korea. Thats opportunity and positioning
If America sows freedom by opportunity... than I should just expect war. b.c there will never be better positioning for the United States than there is now.
am I wrong?

Look people, Our so called government may appear to be for the people. How ever then Y R we in such bad shape. Look at each other, look @ the world with out self gain, take the money out of your equation, your fantsy, your motives. What You need to do in read the Declaration of Independence. This is a world with our eyes wide shut. Our Government controls everything, Drug, Food, Guns,etc. Lets Look At Drugs, there is cures yet people R dying, Food, we have the fattest America ever the governments fat to, fat pockets. U see people we can give them all the control we want how ever were 100% responsible. Y dont we just let them put us on chains, oh wait we already did. Here Is The Scam People, we work for 30years all the while getting fat an addicted to food & drugs our government oversees, we die and our children follow our foot steps. This is cruel to everyone. Of course I believed the original story too because it's what I saw on tv ..But then one day someone posted a link to a site I was browsing and I started to "research" and did quite alot of reading. Yes i was shocked at first and didn't believe what I was reading and that it sounds too crazy. But then started to think why not? why isn't it atleast possible? How do we know what really happenned?
There's still alot of unanswered questions and things that just don't add up... This was about more than a year ago, I kinda gave up after a few months because it didn't seem like anyone cared or would believe anything besides the "official" story. there were already a substantial amount of people who had discovered what I did too. My interest was sparked again just the other day when i read an article about someone named William Rodriguez and a few other things. You probably never heard of him most americans haven't either because it seems his story and what he has to say has been ignored and dismissed by the AMERICAN mainstream media... There's so many other things that raises doubts in the official story.., I'll just mention a few.. At the time of the attacks Cheney was conducting 'war games" in the north eastern portion of the United States. These drills included many hijacking scenarios, where hijacked commercial jets were hijacked and flown into buildings! Someone placed anonymous put options on American Airlines and United Airlines just prior to the attacks of 9/11(insider trading on airline stocks)! On sept 10 a group of top Pentagon officials suddenly canceled travel plans for the next morning, apparently because of security concerns!
A colonel in the Air Force was "silenced" for stating his opinion on what he knew. 5 Israelis who were found to be dancing and celebrating in the vicinity of the wtc towers during the attacks...one of them told the police officer, "The fact of the matter is we are coming from a country that experiences terror daily. Our purpose was to document the event." ...For the first time that year no fighters were scrambled to intercept the airliners.It is standard operating procedure (SOP) to scramble jet fighters whenever a jetliner goes off course or radio contact when it is lost. interceptors were scrambled 67 times between September 2000 and June 2001, jets were scrambled 129 times in the year 2000.The hijacked planes flew past over the most militarized areas in the country. THe manouevres made by the jets that hit the towers would not have been possible by a couple of novice pilots that had difficulty flying a single engined prop plane around a field.The flight recorders that were admitted to being found were taken by the FBI never to be heard of again. Each WTC building collapse occurred at virtually "free-fall" speed (approximately 10 seconds or less) only demolitions occur like this. A few years earlier a huge fire burned in one of the towers for over 7 hours, no collapse happened.
The 757 that hit the Pentagon seems to have disappeared. All security videos that overlooked the building from car parks and fuel stations were confiscated by the FBI within an hour of the attack, never to be seen again or any footage released to corroborate the fact that a plane did hit the Pentagon. Apparently a 757 made mainly from aluminium could penetrate 5 sections of reinforced concrete and steel.
That's only scratching the surface..

Forgot to add what I was suppose to say before the Bush links...
Bush is HONEST? are you kidding me?!. That's an insult to the thousands of American soldiers who have died in Iraq and their families because the basis upon which Bush invaded Iraq was an obvious LIE. Also to the families of the victims of the september 11 attacks who still are searching for the TRUTH. Bush hasn't been honest, he even lied about how and when he saw the planes hit the towers! It's not just a conspiracy theory as you suggest either. An independent research community has explored the facts and evidence over the years which highlights serious FLAWS to the official story we were told.. .No offense but you're just a "sheep" like many others, brainwashed by the mainstream media and government accepting everything they tell you as the truth...It's the official story they told us which seems to be the real "conspiracy theory!" 19 Arab hijackers with only limited flight training somehow manage to hijack planes with boxcutters and commandeer 4 planes simultaneously flying them around US airspace(in the most militarized areas in the US) for nearly 2 hours, crashing them into buildings, without the US intelligence services having any idea that it was coming, and without the Air Force knowing what to do. That's only scratching the surface....
Btw your santa claus analogy is flawed, It doesn't make me feel good that i know what really happened! How can it make anyone feel good, thousands of innocent lives were lost and the US government was responsible!...Can't believe how blind and oblivious so many still are to the truth....
Why don't you go and do your OWN research and then come back and tell us if you think Bush is still honest like you think he is..
