Come on now people, we all know the story. They say that it was a weather ballon, testing equipment, etc. Everything accept ALIENS. Why, because it would be panic and chaos. While most of us believe in some way or another that we are not alone do we really realize what that means?? That at anytime we could be invaded, watched, or even "taken", (tortured or not it would be unforgettable - lest "they" wipe our minds clean). But, what if its just the government "taking" people? (Doing experiments - you know that they want to test out the freaky dog revival thing on people.) We already know that they are "watching" us. Well, what if they do things like in the movies in real life? It would make a lot of sense. Who would notice if a bum wasn't on the street begging for change the next day?? Or someone plain who lives alone was to disappear? (enter erie night time spook music)
O.k. - now I'm kinda freakin' me out. Maybe I do watch too much t.v but I know someone out here has to know what I mean???
Soooooo my Question is.....(drum roll please)
ARE WE ALONE OR IS IT JUST THE GOVERNMENT??

Do you always keep things short and sweet or do you do it to annoy??
Doesn't matter about Area 51. Mostly I'm talking about the idea of what I said. Is the government taking people for experimentation? Maybe not, most people would probably sign the dotted line for some money but then again...

I think area 51 does exist but its not just for ''aliens'' its for new aircrafts new military weponds and anything they want to keep a secret but i belive they also have alien info maybe bodies alien aircrafts.

The UFO wave of the modern era occurred around August 1946 in Europe.
It wasn't until 1947 that the pilot of a small plane saw UFOs over Mt.Rainer in Washinton State; It was he who coined the phrase 'flying Saucer.'
There is no evidence to suggest UFOs are craft from other planets, or even other star sytems, and there is only very circumspect and highly suspicious evidence to suggest they are solid, nuts and bolts craft. The way to work everything out is to proceed in the opposite direction to the flow of information, for the UFO scene is riddled with disinformation, as are crop circle investigations and other transdimensional conspiracy theories.
Think of this: if you wanted people to beleive in solid UFOs, wouldn't the supposed crash at Roswell in 1947 work just perfectly? You deny there ever was a crash, and you offer some blatantly ludicrous explaination about hot air balloons that no one will believe. If people dont believe the government's explanation, then they have to beleive in the crash. Throw in a couple of rednecks who swear blind their grandpa saw it all happen and bingo! You have pretty much got the story sorted.
From time to time you got to keep the BS alive, so enter Colonel Phillip Corso. A decorated veteran with a fine military record who writes a book called The Day After Roswell. In it he claims the 1947 crash was real and that he was assigned the task of collecting the technology that was recovered from the craft, which eventually led to the invention of night-vision goggles, the silicone chip, and fiber optics. He says it was his job to disperse the technology among American industry, which explains why America has taken such a technological leap forward over recent decades. Pure and utter piffle.
When you sign the Offical Secrets Act or any oath of secrecy, the best that can happen to you if you become a traitor is that you spend the rest of your days in the slammer. However, the most likely thing to happen is that you will be pushing up daisies, six feet under. Security organizations do not piss about.
My father was a highly decorated officer seconded to the intellligence service. He would of fell of his chair laughing at the story.
When Colonel Corso wrote the Roswell book, he was living on a cozy pension with all his perks; veteran's benefit, health benefits, blah, blah. While in his cozy cubbyhole he decides to risk everything and spill the beans , violating his oath of secrecy, and no one in the military takes one bit of notice.
If Corso was really acting on his own without the permission of someone high-up he would been picked up a long time before the book ever when to press.
Only two things are possible. The first possibility is highly unlikely, and it suggests that What Corso wrote was true and that someone in the military intelligence had asked him to put the record straight on his behalf, as they had been suddenly overwhelmed with pangs of righteousness.
The second possibility, which is very much more likely, is that what Corso wrote about, the technology in the Roswell crash, was part of the ongoing solid-UFO disinformation campaign that the military want us to believe.
Everyone who met Colonel Corso said he was a nice guy. He claimed he was never paid a dime in royalties for his book and that was probably right. He was fed the story and he followed orders as he had done all his life.
The famous video of the supposed autopsy on an alien being that had allegedly died in the Roswell crash was further disinformation attempts; but it fell apart when the video was proved to be a fake, and anyway, anything that confuses the issue becomes a valuable cog in the disinformation wheel. There have been recent, somewhat feeble attempts to revitalized the autopsy video as the real thing.
It's amazing how the game is played.

Search elsewhere... area 51 is for real! i was out in the nevada desert there once when we went to las vegas. there is infrared sensors out in the desert everywhere & they will shoot your ass if you cross them. there is signs everywhere telling you that they will use deadly force. they must protecting something there eh? there is a little store/bar out there called the little alien. it's in a little town called rachel that's not even on any map. it's a cool little place where you can buy alien souvenoirs.

EWW what an chilling thought I live alone and worse I live in Nevada near Area 51 (well ok vegas but close enough)LMAO!!! So if I stop posting will it be that I lost interest or will it be that I was taken for goverment experimentation OH ****! ... LOL kidding of course.... And Saturn... I know that area they have a diner called the little AleInn ( I think thats the spelling) Pronounced ALE E INN lol! And that is true about the signs they will shoot on site clear as day they are not playing but I am thinking since Nellis Air Force Base is here they are probably testing fighter planes and things more than likely.

Do you really think an alien, who has travelled a very, very long way, would come to Earth then crash? Or let itself be shot down?
If they have the technology to travel such a far distance surely they would prepare for hostiles shooting at them and have some anti-crash system. Even some cars have ACS now!

Come on SubJunk, you say you're working all day with code and by inference some kind of micro-processor controlled equipment and you're going to ask those
silly rhetorical question and present a goofy syllogism like that?
What about Murphy's Law?
Just because the aliens have the technology to get here doesn't exempt their gear from Murphy.

I definately believe aliens exist, to me it's a fact that they do. But I think if they took the effort to get here they would plan it to the last detail. Also, if area 51 really was a secret alien cover-up bunker, that would mean that every president since the crash happened would be able to know about it, and I'm sure at least a few have asked.
I'm also sure not all of them would agree to keep it a secret... Got to go, I'll finish this later

According to regular reports in Weekly World News, all the presidents have secret meetings with the little greenish-grey guys with big funny eyes and that Elvis is alive hanging out with them too.
who knows? has anybody ever been able to prove that it's all a hoax or is everybody just running on suppositions based on conventional wisdom that we all know defy scientific standards and conventions and is usually not what philosophers and theologians consider to be wise.
i've got to go too -- need to take my lawn mower and make some crop circles to signal the Mother Ship...
