could someone get back to me i received a phone call also about a trip i won and these people do not accept no for an answer its like harrassment over the phone i tried the website and its not real i guess because i cant get the site its called flamingo bay resorts the thread number they give me was 327586 please get back to me and let me know if this was also a scam.

You will have to get more info. There are Flamingo Bay Hotels and Resorts in Vegas, Costa Rica and a couple of other locations. It is probably a time share scam. I get calls almost every month from them telling me I won a trip for two and them wanting me to go listen to their seminars.
You should get the info on the company that is calling you and then Google them, check the BBB and check for others who may have been contacted by them.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THESE PEOPLE FOR THREE HOURS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUIMBER. THEY WOULDN'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER AMD I FINALLY GAVE IT TO THEM. i HAD A STAY IN ORLANDO, DAYTONA, AND THE BAHAMAS. I HAVE NO IDEA OF THE NAME OF THE COMPANY. THEY JUST TOLD ME IT WAS FLAMINGO BAY YACHT CLUB. I CALLED THEM IN THE BAHAMAS AND THEY COULDN'T HELP ME EITHER. THEY HAVE TAKEN MY MONEY AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT IT. SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

If you join the do not call list,and if you do not fill out any forms giving them permission to call you,then they cant.As soon as they call tell them you are on the do not call list.If they persist and if they call back REPORT THEM!!The fines are very high.

I got the runaround too, but I didn't "bite". Just tell them something like, "I'm going through a divorce and I'm just not ready to go". But if they still talk you into buying, call your credit card company and tell them you want to "dispute" the charge. They will do it. They will send a simple form and you can give them the reasons.

Ok look, first and formost. It is NOT a scam. If you want to cancel you can at any time. the # is 888-stay-vip. It says so right in the package information. Secondly, I just got back from my stay via this very package. I had a great time with my wife and my kids. We combined the florida stay with the bahama cruise and loved it. Very nice people and let me tell you, I dont know about anyone else but with seven kids, it was more than worth it to stay for a 90 min presentation to get the package we got. I did have a small issue when billed. They accidently billed me twice, but when I brought it to there attention, they refunded it immediately and gave me an additional 5 days 4 nights in bahamas. Now where can you buy all that for $158 dollars and 90 min of your time????

...and WHY would an attorney volunteer for a cut-rate package? It flies in the face of the "attorney lifestyle".
