Hey everyone,
I recently came across a website, processemails.com. They claim to pay $25 per e-mail you process. This seems completely impossible to me but I'd like to hear what other people have to say. So do you have any comments on this program?
I guess I'll just combine two questions into one thread here. I've really been wanting to earn some extra money online. I'm already a member of some autosurf sites that pay you a certain percent of your money per day for surfing a certain amount of sites. These are good and are paying, but I'm wondering if there are any opportunites that are actually legit. I'm talking about opportunites that are listed in the Self Employment section of Clickbank. Can anyone recommend and good money making sites where I will actually earn money?
Thanks, Joey

They just want to turn you into a spammer so they don't have to. Join it anyway and let me know how it goes!
I am curious.

Seriously, though, do you think they are going to pay $25.00 if there is no ROI?
They may pay if the mark buys the stuff you forward, but I find it hard to imagine they would pay unless somebody buys something.
Try it anyway. Just don't give them too much personal info.
If you really want my opinion, it's a scam that will get you in trouble.
Every legit business gives you a 1099 at the very least and does not fear the federal authorities. Not these people. See below.
From their website: Question: Will taxes be taken out of our pay? Answer: Taxes will not be taken out of your pay and we do not send you any tax forms at the end of each tax year. You will be responsible to report this tax on your own.
Question: Will I need to do any printing or mailing through the US Mail? Answer: No, all work is done online and you will not have to do any printing or mailing through the US Mail.
Also, a legit company doesn't ask you to buy your job.

Try it anyway. Just don't give them too much personal info. This is what I thought as well. I found this in their FAQ. They say that the person you are sending the e-mail to does NOT have to buy anything for you to get paid. I don't understand how they get the money to pay you then. Here's what it says:
Question: When I process and send these e-mails out, will they need to purchase any of your programs in order for me to get paid?
Answer: Once you have processed an e-mail, these potential customers will NOT need to purchase any of our programs in order for you to get paid. You will still be paid $25 for each e-mail you process.
I guess it could be a trick of words. They say the potential customer will not need to purchase any of our programs in order for you to get paid. They could need to buy another program or something. I don't know.. I'm new to this whole thing. Do you really think it's worth trying to buy? It's $79.95.

Whoa I hit the Post Reply button and by the time I had posted you had edited your post. I agree with you, it seems like this website is a complete scam. This is the link I found it from: RealCashPrograms. This site lists money making opportunites that they claim are legit. To me they seem like scams, but I can't be sure unless I try. I just wish the registration fee wasn't so high.
Well do you know of any programs that I can participate in where I will be paid, and where I will make good money?

Man I don't know whether or not I should buy this program. I e-mailed this company yesterday and asked them to explain to me how they manage to pay $25 per email. Still haven't received a reply. They claim to reply to all e-mails with 48 hours so I guess we'll wait and see. If I do buy it and I'm not satisfied, I can just request a refund from ClickBank, but it's not worth the time if I already know it's not going to work. It really doesn't seem possible, but you never know. What do you think I should do? Should I just try it and request a refund if it's not going well?
Thanks, CougarElite
Edit: On their website, there is a banner that says "Consumer Certified AAA Rated Site". Is Consumer Certified a website or something/does anyone have a link?

They say all you have to do is send out one e-mail to a company every week. I don't really understand how that works. From what I've read on this program, they just pay you to sell the same information you bought, so it's like a lot of other programs. They also offer a $1000-a-day bonus program. They really don't offer any information on this part though. I've done a WhoIs and everything looks right, and they have an earnings disclaimer and stuff, so they aren't complete liars. Anyone have any opinions on this site?
Thanks, CougarElite
P.S With the website I mentioned in this post, the images only seem to load on Internet Explorer.

I would be skeptical about this particular site. However, with a purchase thorugh Clickbank you can request a refund withing 90 days of purchase. Just make sure you keep all pertinent information. This site has way too much "sizzle" and very little "steak" in my opinion.

About this Email Processing thing, it has been posted in washington states Little Nickel newspaper for the past three years or more that I have noticed and I finally was looking for some type of money thing online, and ran into processemails.com and this is what I can tell you! I am playing the guinea pig right now, as I have sent in a money order to sign up for the processing emails job for 25 dollars per email! So the good news is once I find out that it really works I will provide you with the info all you guys need to know that it is or is not a scam! Sure is a b***h paying 80 bucks just to join though!!!

I wish I would have found this before you sent the $80 marabunta. I can personally say that the program is nothing more than a scam. The site first came to my attention when I was doing some searching on eBay. I ran across a aution that highly resembled the site (although the amount they were charging was much less, a mere $12). I sent the owner an email, but did not hear anything back from it. I decided to do some searching online, which broght me to a different site, Processingemails.com. The email address listed on this site took me to FastCashAtHome.com. On their website, it's $79.95. I sent them some emails asking about their site and eBay. They responded saying that the eBay auction was illegal and not to trust it. I decided to do some more research so I went to google and searched for Processingemails.com. I didn't find very much info on it. I work in the IT industry so I decided to visit the site again. I clicked on the Member's link seeing what would happen and it took me to a password page. This struck me as odd because it did NOT ask for a username, just a password. Usually, when sites do this, they give out generic passwords. That got my motor running so I sent them an email asking them exactly how could they track the amount of emails that I sent. If their system was using generic passwords, there would be no way they could track the amount of emails that are sent by each member. I did not receive a reply. So, I decided once again to do some more searching on Google, but this time I mistakenly typed in Processemails.com, not Processingemails.com. I was able to get more information (i.e. find this post), but not much else. I did, however, find one site that sort of got me wondering. It was a posting in a classified ad specifying that I could make $25 per email. The ad requested that I email for the URL. I sent the person an email and she responded back with a URL. I went to the URL and noticed that it was a cloaked URL (basically, using a cloaked URL to load a Clickbank site, thus not violating Clickbank's URL posting policies). The site that I landed on was the exact same FastCashAtHome.com site. So, I decided to click back on the process emails link and went through the order process until it took me to clickbank. When I looked down at the bottom, I noticed that the person was listed as an affiliate. I did some research on Clickbank and found that if you promote the site, you can get 50% off of each sell. Now, 50% of 80 is 40, so that wasn't the $25 per email. So I dead end there. I went back to google and noticed a link that took me to a classified ad service in New York. There were about 400 listings on it, but I looked on it anyway. As I scrolled down, I found a ad that was similar to the other $25 ad, but this one listed a URL. When clicked on, it took you the exact same page. I went back to the classified ad and scrolled down a bit further, it was then that I realized that this site was nothing more than a new form of an old scam.
I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with Envelope Stuffing? If you are not, the scam works like this. You send the person X amount of money to join their Envelope Stuffing program. They promise to pay you X amount of money per envelope that you mail. You receive your package, only to find out that the instructions have you place ads all over the place (some free, some paid). In the ad, you instruct the person to send you X amount of money (your profit) plus a self-addressed stamp envelope, which you send to the people you joined. They then stuff the envelopes with the same flyers they sent you and bring more people in to the ring. This is the exact same thing, only electronic. When I looked at the the classified site, there was about 8 postings that were nearly identical. Each one had information about 300+ companies that needed home workers. In order to receive the list, you had to Paypal $25 to them. They would then send you the list. Below is an example of one of the ads:
300+ Work at home Companies
Make $1000's Monthly! Over 300 work at home firms are in need of survey takers, product assemblers, home mailers, mystery shopping and more! For this complete report of over 300 firms please PayPal $25.00 to some@emailhere.com and we will send you the information to your e-mail address. You also may send check to Some Address Here. If you want any additional information before ordering please e-mail me at some@emailhere.com
I removed the email and physical address for privacy reasons.
Thus, you can make $25 per email. But, it's highly unlikely that many people will send you $25 via Paypal or Stormpay just to get this information. Another day, another scam.
